Easy Dental 12.2 has new features and enhancements to help your practice work quickly and efficiently.

Easy Dental 12.2

The following improvements will be made to the Easy Dental Document Center.

New Patient Module

Now you can see more patient information in a single view without clicking through menus because creating a new patient no longer requires you to switch between the schedule and Patient Module.

Improved Patient Banner

The patient banner now shows you the patient’s history, medical alerts and future appointments without any additional clicks.

New Insurance Tab

For your convenience, the Patient Module now has a dedicated Insurance tab that shows outstanding claims, primary claims and secondary claims all in a single view.

Patient Data Validation

Easy Dental now automatically checks to ensure phone numbers have the correct number of digits and email addresses use a valid format, helping you improve the accuracy of your patient data.

New Patient Preferences

You can now easily add each patient’s preferred appointment time and language right in the Patient Module, reducing clicks by nearly 38%.

Save More Recall Types

Easy Dental now lets you conveniently define and save up to 50 recall types to your database. Now you have 45 more ways to meet the needs of your practice.

Easier Family Relationship Management

Families can change frequently, and now you can move patients between families with 52% fewer clicks or change their relationship within a family with 20% fewer clicks.

Easy Dental 12.1

The following improvements will be made to the Easy Dental Document Center.

Store PDF Documents

Store PDFs into Easy Dental for the first time. Easily navigate between the different pages of a PDF using thumbnails within Easy Dental.

Improved Document Management

Preview most file types directly within Easy Dental, including Word, Excel, PDF, and others. Combine original files into a single Easy Dental document making it easier to find related documents.

Redesigned Tagging System

Link documents to patients or providers in new ways. Easily attach documents to a patient, provider, employer, referral, or insurance provider with a simple tagging system.

Filter Documents

Filter documents by name, date, or any tags assigned directly in the document list. Streamline recall of documents for any entity (e.g., an insurance company with dozens of associated documents).

Export/Import Multiple Documents

Export or import as many files as needed at one time, with just a few clicks.

Updated Default Provider Colors in the Schedule

Use updated provider schedule colors that are softer and easier to read. Retain original color hues (e.g., yellow is still yellow) and any custom colors.

CareCredit Patient Financing

Help patients say “yes” to your recommended treatment by providing patients the option to use CareCredit to finance their dental treatments.

Process CareCredit transactions from within Easy Dental and have payments automatically write back to the Easy Dental accounts.
Essential patient information is automatically transferred from Easy Dental to the CareCredit application. Simply type content into remaining fields and click “Submit” to receive a credit decision within seconds.
Look up cardholder account numbers and access CareCredit without leaving Easy Dental.

Easy Dental 12.1 also includes several updates to system functions – designed for a smoother user experience for dentists and office staff.
